Our Client is recognised as a World Class Global Engineering Corporation with offices on every Continent. Their Engineering and PMC expertise covers a broad range of Industry sectors such as both Up and Downstream Oil & Gas, Mining & Minerals, Fine Chemicals, Power, etc. With the recent major project acquisition in their workbook, there is an operation need for them to seek a dynamic, technically competent Blasting Specialist/Engineer to join their Project QA team on an Oil&Gas Hydrocarbon/Petrochemical/Onshore project.

Responsibilities:

As Blasting Specialist/Engineer, you are in charge of the monitoring the blasting procedures during the construction project. You are to be consulted in the operations, fireworks exhibitions, pyrotechnics, blasting, open pit mining and underwater demolitions. You will propose and design safety measures for the blasting and advise/design explosives required on the numerous demolition phases on the project.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should be a degree qualified engineering who is a member of NESEE and ISEE. A minimum of 10 years working experience in as a blasting engineer in the Oil and Gas field is mandatory.

The job may also take you to a remote location so candidates must be willing to be assigned in these locations. Candidates who can speak CHINESE/MANDARIN will be highly regarded.
